A tremendous amount of work (and money, needless to say!) has gone into the design and building of our vehicle, over a period of about 3 years. After much deliberation we named our vehicle Nyathi which means buffalo in Zulu, Swahili and a number of other African languages. A buffalo is an extremely strong, solid animal which goes where it pleases, is somewhat fickle, and can drink 20 litres in an hour! We think our Nyathi is like that – a strong, thirsty, capable wanderer of the bush.
